Claas has launched its brand new Claas Arion 500 and 600 series as part of its ongoing product development and investment.
Maximum power is quoted as 145hp on the Arion 530, the smallest of the new models, while the largest model, the Arion 650, develops a maximum of 184hp. There are seven models in the new 500 and 600 series - the 500s are all four-cylinder models and the 600s, six-cylinder models.
The vast majority of Claas tractors are still manufactured in France with the exception of the Talos range, which is built in Korea and sold in Turkey and South Africa. Since their launch, Claas says it has sold more than 10,000 Arion tractors around the world, with the Arion 640 being the most popular model sold in Ireland and Britain. Back in 2003, Claas acquired a majority stake in the Renault tractor business and in 2007 launched the Arion 500 and 600 series. German agricultural equipment manufacturer Claas has just launched its replacement for the Arion 500 and 600 series tractors with the introduction of new emissionised versions with new cabs and a host of other improvements. TORION 1812 wheel loader, New SCORPION range, VOLTO 55 tedder, AXION 900. ROADWARRIOR parts are not currently available for sale or use in California. A DPF with a PGM coating has a lower passive regeneration temperature which can extend the time between active regenerations, saving on an fuel costs.
